The essence of Howdy Buenos Aires is to enable you to totally immerse yourself in this wonderfully vast, Spanish-speaking metropolis while minimising the frustrations of the language barrier and the time it can take visitors to simply navigate this city – with flights, accommodation and a Spanish speaking guide included who’ll not only show you the highlights of Buenos Aires but also lead you to where the average tourist doesn’t roam – from private restaurants, to the best steak, old tango halls, jazz clubs… to the drama of a live football match.

We also aim to keep to an ‘all up’ outlay covering flights-accommodation-airport transfers – and daily guide) that’s very reasonable.  We are also excited this year to offer the option of 2 days in Mendoza – a beautiful town, nestled at the foot of the Andes and the centre of Argentine wine country.

My Philosophy;

“To experience and gain an insight into the gritty, fascinating, reality of Buenos Aires – the eating, dancing, lounging, shopping and walking – you first have to find a way to bypass the clichés and in doing so get an insight into both the classical and the new in this infamous port city.

Since 2001, the year of this country’s worst economic meltdown, I began making extended sojourns to Buenos Aires. In the past seven years, the country has undergone a miraculous renaissance especially with regard to the local art, fashion, culture and the very way Argentines perceive their place in the world. It’s a fascinating time to greet the Argentines.”

A note on the itinerary: The tours are designed for up to no more than 10 inquisitive travellers – those who want to explore/shop/museum hop/cafe lounge for part of the day will have ample opportunity with incisive walking maps and general guidance being offered. As well, there’ll be daily ‘mini’ activity tours with Mike, a fluent Spanish speaker.
